The New World Center (NWC), home to the New World Symphony (NWS) Fellowship Program, boasts a Frank Gehry-designed six story atrium filled with impressive curved forms and a dramatically lit bar, a jaw-dropping performance hall, multi-purpose, rehearsal, and recording spaces. The Center is flanked by SoundScape Park and is crowned by the beautiful rooftop garden, providing a 360˚ view of Miami Beach, Biscayne Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean.

The NWC is a forward-thinking alternative venue that challenges artists to rise to its occasion. From traditional classical arts to multi-media indie collaborations, our mechanical lift stage, satellite performance platforms, and retractable seating provide unparalleled flexibility.

Yasuhisa Toyota's impeccable acoustic design, expert staff, and state-of-the-art audio, lighting and projection technology bring extreme dimension to your performance.

Whether seating is fully deployed or retracted to enable an alternative configuration, attendees are always fully immersed in the production. The audience is never more than thirteen rows from the stage.

Stage Productions

Stories deserve to be told. Theater, dance, music, film, performance art - the New World Center can amplify an experience in all senses. Give your audience a panoramic view through in-the-round seating or a create cabaret-style seating in retracted-seating space. Project on the overhead “sails”. Rehearsal Spaces

Spacious individual practice rooms, mid-size ensemble rooms and large orchestra-size rehearsal space are all available at the NWC. Most spaces are recording and distance-learning capable. More information on New World Center's rehearsal spaces can be provided upon submitting a rental inquiry.
