NWS Verbier Participants Hosted by NWS Trustee

New World Sym­phony Trustee Enrique Lerner hosted a post-concert din­ner in Ver­bier, Switzer­land for Fel­lows and recent alumni who are part of this summer’s Ver­bier Fes­ti­val.

Cur­rent and recently grad­u­ated Fel­lows in the Ver­bier Fes­ti­val Orches­tra include Andrew Fran­cois, viola; Drew Banzhaf, bass; Dylan Girard, trum­pet; Kevin Pearl, oboe; John Upton, oboe; Rosanna But­ter­field, cello; Kevin Kunkel, cello; Grace An, cello; Car­o­line Gilbert, viola; and Brad Whit­field, clar­inet. And an incoming NWS Fel­low in the VFO is Ju Hyung Shin, violin.

Play­ing chamber works in the Ver­bier Fes­ti­val Cham­ber Orches­tra are Fel­low Vivek Jayara­man, vio­lin; and alumni David Meyer, cello (2010−2012); Audrey Wright, vio­lin (2013−2014); Sam Blair, bas­soon (2010−2012); Jay Fer­ree, horn (2010−2011); and Laura Ha, vio­lin (2014).

Also in Ver­bier is Nina Zhou, piano (2013−2014).
