Pulse brings WHITE OUT to NWS
The season’s final Pulse: Late Night at the New World Symphony is this Friday! Named by Miami New Times as Miami’s Best Classical Music Experience, this Pulse’s theme is WHITE OUT the New World Symphony. Wear all white, enjoy special white martinis and immerse yourself in music that will move you. DJ Le Spam, aka Andrew Yeomanson, returns to spin alongside NWS Fellows and a few of his Spam All-stars, Aaron Lebos and Jason Matthews.
Enjoy classic jazz by Duke Ellington, Louis Prima and George Gershwin, whirlwind music by John Adams and film favorites from E.T. the Extraterrestrial and Star Trek. As always, Pulse will end with the world premiere of a work for DJ and orchestra by Sam Hyken—co-founder of Miami’s Nu Deco Ensemble and an NWS alumnus. Be sure to stay for Pulse: Unplugged in the New World Center’s intimate SunTrust Pavilion at 11:00 PM to hear Fellows perform chamber works, some accompanied by film excerpts.
This is one night you won’t want to end! So, keep the party going at Hyde Beach at the SLS Hotel (1701 Collins Ave.) Pulse ticketholders will have free admission and drink specials from midnight to 2:00 AM, courtesy of the SLS Hotel!
Pulse is better (and cheaper) with friends!
Grab 10 or more friends and get 20% off tickets for Pulse! Contact NWS’s Concert Concierge Theo Reyna at 305.428.6746 or theo.reyna@nws.edu to get started.
