SoundScape Park Hosts Art Basel Films
The international art show Art Basel takes over Miami Beach this week, December 3-6. Leading art galleries from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa will be showing significant and diverse works of modern and contemporary art. Paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, films, and more will be on display in the main exhibition hall at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Large‐scale artworks, films and performances become part of the city's outdoor landscape at nearby Collins Park and SoundScape Park. And additional art events will take place around town.
New World Center hosts Art Basel's Film program in adjoining SoundScape Park with films projected onto the 7,000 square-foot wall. Films will be shown Wednesday though Saturday evenings beginning at 6:00pm.
